*Safari Bar is not like other curry houses in that they make their food fresh when you order.
If you are going to eat as well as enjoy the music (we hope you continue to do both), you can help by either:
• arriving early and enjoying your meal in the front room before coming into the gig, or
• ordering as soon as you arrive in the knowledge that your dinner will be freshly cooked for you whilst you enjoy the music, and ready in 30-45 minutes
Local hero Julian Stringle is a recognised world-class talent on jazz clarinet, having performed with many of the great names of jazz including Peanuts Hucko, Wild Bill Davidson, George Chisholm and many others.
His prolific writing for film and TV has embraced every style from dixieland to contemporaray fusion, and he has played all over the world with his own ensembles and as a featured guest.
